I was asked to do the photography of my friend wedding. As always, I have started by searching for the ideas for the wedding photoshoot. I have learned from experience that people would appreciate if you can give them tips on how to stand or what posture to take. I find the idea of this photo online. In the original photo that I have seen, the bride and groom left the bouquet behind and start walking on the road.
The photo below is our version, which the bride and her friends liked a lot. I must confess that I got the full idea behind the photo while I was editing the photo. “Why the bride always through the bouquet?”, “Why single girls try to catch it?”, and “Why the bride should not take the bouquet with herself?”. The wedding is the first step to a long happy forever life together. The Bride just needed the bouquet in her hand only during the wedding night. The next day she supposed to be the happy wife and she does not need the bouquet any more. Hence, she passes this lovely companion to the next girl in line. This photo also tries to show that they are done with the wedding and they are on their way toward a new and happy life together.
I felt very wise when I come to this understanding when the bride told me this is known for all girls. I guess as a man I never paid attention to this issue.
